Our promise to you
Editorial standards
Since 1997, Imaginis has had one job: to translate complex medicine into clear, calm, trustworthy information for women and the people who care about them. Here’s how we do it.
Evidence first
Our articles draw on peer-reviewed research, professional guidelines, and reputable institutions such as the National Cancer Institute, the FDA, and major medical societies. We lead with what the evidence supports — not hype, and not fear.
Reviewed for accuracy
Health content is reviewed for medical accuracy and kept under periodic review. Where the science evolves, we update the article and note when it was last reviewed.
Plain language, always
We explain the everyday meaning first and introduce the medical term second — often with a pronunciation guide. If a sentence needs a dictionary, we rewrite it.
Independent & transparent
Imaginis is reader-focused and ad-supported. Advertising is always clearly labeled and never disguised as editorial content. Sponsorship never determines our coverage or conclusions.
